New Trip Menus

User Experience

Going into this project I knew nothing about whitewater rafting, which is something I actually relied on when planning the user-experience.

When I was using the old website I was presented with essentially three options to start: “Kennebec, Penobscot, & Dead River”. This doesn’t mean anything to the average prospective rafter, but if you rephrase that as “Most Popular”, “Most Adventurous”, & “Specialty Trips” you have now provided far more information and context for the type of trip they are looking for.

Three Rivers is a family of businesses which includes Sugarloaf Inn & Three Dollar Deweys. This series of prints was placed next to each other in each of these establishments in hopes of promoting rafting to those who may not have previously considered.
